The evening began with a welcome and a brief history of tea service and afternoon tea from the hostess, Tiffanydenise, followed by a presentation of teaetiquette by Inga Watkins of Modelquette.
The two sisters- Miko and Titi, spoke about their brand’s journey and how preparation and determination caught the interest of their largest distributor, Target. They also reflected on personal hardships and dedication to business.
“We put fifty percent [of profits] in business and fifty percent in savings. We didn’t have a social life in our twenties,” Miko Branch shared with guests. “We never took out a loan until now.”
Tiffanydenise presented awards to the two for their dedication to supporting the community and for their success within the hair care industry.
